The 2025 Yamaha YZ450FX is a premier off-road competition motorcycle designed to excel in cross-country racing straight out of the box. Based on the championship-winning YZ450F motocrosser, the YZ450FX incorporates features tailored for off-road performance, including a wide-ratio transmission, larger fuel capacity, an 18-inch rear wheel, side stand, skid plate, revised ECU settings, and a 10mm lower seat height.    Key features and specifications The YZ450FX features a 450cc liquid-cooled DOHC four-stroke engine optimized for cross-country and enduro competition. It is built on a redesigned aluminum bilateral beam frame with YZ450FX-specific XC-tuned engine mounts. The bike is equipped with industry-leading KYB® suspension, which includes a fully adjustable coil spring fork with speed-sensitive damping and a linkage-type rear shock. The front fork allows for tool-less compression adjustments.  Ergonomics are designed for rider movement and control with slim bodywork and increased legroom. The Yamaha Power Tuner App allows riders to adjust engine parameters, utilize a Traction Control System, and access tuning guides. The YZ450FX has a wide-ratio 5-speed transmission. Additional features include a high-performance braking system, Dunlop® Geomax MX33 tires, a composite engine guard, sealed O-ring chain, and a folding aluminum kickstand.
