The 2024 KTM 890 Adventure R is a highly capable middleweight adventure motorcycle designed for a blend of on and off-road riding, with a strong emphasis on off-road performance.    Performance and engine

• Engine: 889cc DOHC, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke parallel twin, 4 valves per cylinder.

• Wheels: 21-inch front and 18-inch rear tubeless spoked alloy wheels.
• Tires: Mitas Enduro Trail+ tires, specifically optimized for KTM, offering good grip on and off-road. 

Electronics and rider aids

• 5-inch TFT Display: Full-color display with Bluetooth connectivity and smartphone integration.
• Ride Modes: Street, Offroad, Rain, and optional Rally mode.
• Cornering ABS: Advanced 9.3 MP ABS unit that uses a 6D IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) to enhance safety and stability during braking, including in corners.
• Offroad ABS: Automatically toggled in Offroad or Rally modes, reducing ABS on the front wheel and deactivating it on the rear for better control in dirt.
• MTC (Motorcycle Traction Control): Latest generation MTC with a 6D IMU for improved on-road traction and controlled wheelie prevention.
• Optional Features: Quickshifter+ and Cruise Control are available, sometimes included in a Tech Pack. A demo mode allows trying these features for the first 930 miles.
