Key Features:

• Engine: The YZ450F is powered by a DOHC, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 450cc engine with four titanium valves and a reversed cylinder head layout. It's celebrated for its light weight, compact size, and impressive pulling power.
• Suspension: The bike features a high-spec, fully adjustable KYB Speed Sensitive System (SSS) coil spring fork in the front and a matching KYB rear shock. Both have revised settings and the rear suspension linkage is updated for improved stability and traction.
• Brakes: The YZ450F is equipped with a high-performance braking system featuring a large 270mm front brake rotor and Nissin caliper.
• Power Tuner App: This groundbreaking app allows riders to adjust air/fuel mixture and ignition timing, tune engine performance, record race logs, and monitor data.
• Traction Control and Launch Control: The bike features a Traction Control System to optimize rear wheel traction and an updated Launch Control System with an adjustable rpm limiter for better starts.
• Other Features: These include aluminum tapered handlebars, a slim body with optimized ergonomics, electric start, a lightweight clutch, and handlebar-mounted fuel map selector switch. 

Updates for 2025: For 2025, Yamaha introduced subtle but noticeable updates to the YZ450F. These include: 

• Suspension: Revised suspension components and settings, including a new rear shock linkage.
• Engine Mounts: Revised front engine mounts, returning to a one-piece design.
• Footpeg Brackets: Flusher footpeg brackets for improved rider grip.
• Handlebars: Recessed map and kill-switch buttons to prevent damage and accidental activation.
• Throttle Tube: A new throttle tube, extended by 10mm to prevent blistering.
