The 2024 KTM 450 XCF-W is a high-performance off-road motorcycle designed for enduro competition and high-performance trail riding. It's essentially the enduro counterpart to the KTM 450 SX-F motocross bike, featuring a similar powerful engine but with tuning tailored for off-road conditions.

• Engine Type: 449.9cc, 4-stroke, SOHC, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with 4 valves/cylinder.
• Power Output: Offers a peak power output of over 57 hp.
• Mass Centralization: The engine is tilted 2° backward and the sprocket is repositioned 3 mm lower for improved center of gravity, better handling, maneuverability, and anti-squat behavior.
• Power Delivery: Smooth off the bottom, builds through the rpm range, and revs well for a 450 enduro bike. The power delivery can be adjusted through different engine maps and traction control settings.
• Transmission: 6-speed, wet, DDS multi-disc clutch, Brembo hydraulics.
• Optional Quickshifter: Allows for clutchless upshifts from 2nd to 6th gear, which can be deactivated via the map select switch.
• Fuel System: Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) with 42mm throttle body. 

• Frame: All-new black powder-coated central double-cradle-type 25CrMo4 steel frame designed for longitudinal rigidity, providing rider feedback, energy absorption, and high-speed stability.
• Suspension:
  • Front: WP Xact 48mm closed-cartridge coil-spring fork with tool-free compression and rebound damping adjustments. Provides excellent holdup and reduced rebound, increasing rider confidence.
  • Rear: WP Xplor PDS shock absorber with a shorter body, new internals, and tool-free adjustability for low- and high-speed compression and rebound damping. The shock is paired well with the fork, offering good front-to-back balance.
• Handling: More agile and easier to turn in tight trails or wooded areas compared to previous models. Feels lighter when riding, nimble, light, and agile, especially in tight single track. 

• Brakes: Brembo hydraulic disc brakes.
  • Front: 260 mm rotor.
  • Rear: 220 mm rotor.
• Tires: Dunlop Geomax MX33 (front) and Dunlop Geomax AT81 (rear).
• Seat Height: 37.9 in (963 mm).

• Air Filter Box: New design for maximum airflow with minimal water intrusion, featuring precisely positioned inlet ducts and an enduro-specific splash protector. The air filter is easily accessed, without tools, for fast track-side maintenance.
• LED Headlight: Features a running light, high and low beams, although the light output is weaker than the previous year's incandescent light.
