It is designed for off-road riding and features a number of components geared towards handling challenging terrain.      Key Features:

• Engine: 250cc 2-stroke, liquid-cooled engine.
• Transmission: 6-speed manual transmission.
• Suspension: FastAce suspension on both the front and rear, designed for rough terrain.
• Starting: Electric and kick start.
• Frame: Lightweight and strong frame designed for neutral handling.
• Other features: Front and rear lights, and an hour meter as standard equipment. 

Performance and Riding Experience:

• Performance: Compared to a Yamaha YZ250, the KT250 has less horsepower and softer suspension. Some riders have modified the stock pipe, jets, and reeds to improve performance.
• Handling: The KT250 is described as being easier to ride for long distances compared to a Yamaha YZ250.
• Brakes: The brakes are considered good, with 240mm rotors front and rear.
